You can spend your day lounging on the grassy or beach areas, or even take a ride on a camel for an authentic experience. The rooms are spacious and offer breathtaking views of the pool. The service is exceptional, with attentive staff ready to assist you. The breakfast options are varied and delicious, ensuring a great start to your day. you can enjoy the lazy river for a fun and relaxing time during your stay.

One downside is that the WiFi capacity can be limited at times.

Beware mid-selling by booking.net. The Shangri-La Al Bandar is fabulous but this is not where Booking.net locate you. They take your booking, letting you believe it’s for Al Bandar and then locate you in the Al Waha which is nice, but far inferior to the Al Bandar.

Large resort. Fantastic staff and service. Good selection of restaurants. Numerous pools and authentic entertainment. Immaculate facilities.

Remote location meaning taxi/shuttle into town around 20 mins away. Disappointment experienced when believing the booking is for Al Bandar and finding out that it’s for the lower grade section of the hotel.

Breakfast was marvellous and room was nice. It is near the clean beach. Dine nearby at Sultanah, which is 400 m away. View that we had was lovely.

We had a fantastic and luxurious stay at this hotel! The exclusive amenities fulfilled our every need, from the amazing outdoor swimming pool to the superb spa centre. The room advantages were outstanding, with a comfortable king size bed and state-of-the-art technology. The restaurant and bar/lounge area served delicious food and beverages, and the staff provided impeccable service. Moreover, the private facilities were impeccable and exceeded our expectations. We truly felt pampered and relaxed during our entire stay.

Although our stay was wonderful, we encountered one minor issue with the WiFi connectivity. However, this was quickly resolved by the attentive staff.
